Teachers make the difference

Heguru @Jakarta is made up of a team of dedicated and caring teachers whose passion is helping children reach their maximum potential. Our teachers are equipped and certified to have the necessary skills and knowledge to teach the Heguru curriculum, having all personally gone through a rigorous training course in Japan, run by the founders of Henmi Educational General Laboratory (HEGL), Mr. and Mrs. Henmi themselves.  

All teaching staffs are required to be kept up-to-date through regular upgrade courses in Japan. Above this, our Principal and lead teachers are personally guided and mentored by Mr. and Mrs. Henmi.  As the first Japanese licensed Heguru School in Indonesia, we set out to be partners with parents in unlocking their child’s abilities and this three way commitment and love between Heguru, the parent and child is what marks everything that we do.

We are proud to present to you the first two licensed trainers in the whole of Indonesia.  See their credentials below.  
Mr. Suryanto

Mr. Suryanto is an educator at heart, having learnt and taught in both Singapore and Indonesia. Having a clear understanding of the education landscape and what children need to have a holistic upbringing, Mr. Suryanto hopes to give back and to help build up all-rounded Indonesian children.

In his free time, Mr. Suryanto likes to read books relating to education, psychology and self-improvement.
Ms. Joli

Born and raised in Indonesia, Ms. Joli ventured into Singapore for her higher education and from there, she has been a fervent educator for more than 15 years. Her experience includes teaching preschool,
primary secondary, tertiary, homeschooled children and also editing educational books for a Singapore publisher.  

In her spare time, Ms. Joli volunteers to teach people with special needs and have been doing so for the past 15 years.

Now back in Indonesia, Ms. Joli wants to bring her passion for discovering creative teaching methods, through Heguru to young children all over Indonesia.
